In the Dashboard, go to “Add/Edit Services”
Adding a new monitor service

choose “Monitoring”

then “Brand Monitoring”
-
then “Add”
If monitoring has been set up before

Toggle to “My Services” on left

Then select “Monitoring” tab

Click “Edit” on right side of the “Brand and Keyword Monitoring” service
Make sure the “Brand Name or Term” is set.

Click on “Create a Google Alerts Feed »” on the right of “Google Alerts Feed(optional):”
You will now see the page to add a Google Alert with the “Search query” text box set to “Brand Name or Term”

Set the “Deliver to:” to “Feed”

Click “Create Alert” and you will now see a table with all your Google Alerts

Click the orange RSS icon to the right of “Google Reader” of the alert you just created
This will redirect you to your RSS page, copy the URL address from the RSS page, it should look like this http://www.google.com/alerts/feeds/### where ### is a long number.

Go back to Dashboard page and paste the URL from step 8 into “Google Alerts Feed (optional):”

Click “Save Changes”
The Dashboard will now read from Google Alerts and push any extra information that Google finds into the monitoring tab.
